Another week another roundup, while we were a bit quiet on the review front we’ve been busy behind the scenes, having some interesting chats with bands, finding new ways to promote the site and stuff like that. So, keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime, remember to share and tell your friends about us and read on!
Star Wars Hype #1
The one review this week came from me on Friday regarding the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II game, since it’s not out yet I played the Beta test all weekend and I was quite pleased with the results, read HERE for my full write up.
For one tour only!
Many, many moons ago I used to really love rap music, one of my favourite acts was The Streets, a group that cemented UK grime onto the world level, the lads have since disbanded and have gone their separate ways… until now. It’s been announced that The Streets will be reforming for a special UK tour next year, with confirmed gigs at Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds and 3 nights at Brixton in April of next year, tickets went on pre-sale yesterday and general coming this Monday, so be quick!
EDIT: I've heard the rumour that two northern shows are sold out as well as the first two Brixton dates.
Harley and The Joker are about to be reunited once again as not only has Jared Leto is been confirmed to be playing Hugh Hefner in the upcoming film on the mogul's life, but guess who's rumored to be portraying one of his of wives? The same actress who declined to be in his notorious magazine in 2014, the best thing about Suicide Squad herself: Margot Robbie. Director Brett Ratner (Rush Hour and Family Man) is actually been in talks about this biopic for quite a while and seems like the duo won't back down until the gorgeous Aussie agrees to the role.
The untitled Fantastic Beasts sequel is getting filmed as we speak and will be released on the 16th November 2018 - this is what we know so far:
1) The story will take place in New York, London, and Paris starting in 1927;
2) Eddie Redmayne's character Newt Scamander will be the main protagonist;
3) Dumbledore and even Hogwarts might appear in the movie, as filming took place at Lacock Abbey, a location used on the Harry Potter movies;
4) Zoë Kravitz's character, Leta Lestrange will have a much larger part.
5) Confirmed to return are Johnny Depp, Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Carmen Ejogo, Jude Law, Callum Turner and director David Yates ...who will also be behind the camera for the next 3 installments.

Star Wars Hype #2
This won’t come as a surprise to anyone who actually knows me, I didn’t love The Force Awakens. It really was just a New Hope rehash, I didn’t hate it but I was wanting for more. So, when the first trailer for The Last Jedi hit us months ago I wasn’t sold on it. Fast forward to Tuesday morning when the second one was all over the internet and my tune has changed, I am pumped for Last Jedi, so much so we already have midnight screening tickets. Between this, the game (see above) and my mandatory Star Wars marathon before the film, the next several months are looking quite galactic in our place. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet here it is.
Since everything is getting rebooted, why should we leave out one of the best shows ever? Comedy Central will be shooting the new episodes of Takeshi's Castle in Thailand, that sadly means the original Japanese TV channel TBS won't be involved. Jonathan Ross will be providing commentary, I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, but as long as they are recreating all of the old games plus some new crueler ones I'll be watching.
Ok, this will sounds bananas but bare with me. Abruptio is an upcoming movie about a dude that's forced into committing brutal crimes by being implanted with an explosive device on his neck... that's a bit of a stock standard scenario in horror, what's different is that the entire movie will be performed by life size realistic latex puppets and produced as a surrealistic thriller/horror. But here's to the part that got me excited and made me want to share this with you, Abruptio will star some heavy weight horror icons: James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel TV Series) Jordan Peele (better known to the wide public for directing Get Out, is also developing a Nazi Hunting TV drama), Sid Haig (AKA Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects to name his most iconic role) and Robert Englund (Freddy motherfuckin Krueger!). The list of actors is enough for my hype to be sky high already!
The UK version of The Sopranos, set in the 20's.
A show that has almost cult like status here in Britain and is slowly building up in the US is Peaky Blinders, a crime series set in 1920’s Birmingham starring Cillian Murphy among others. Fans were left with a massive cliff-hanger last year but they won’t have to wait long as season 4 is just around the corner according to the BBC. The more I read about this show the more I want to check it out, so for those of you with Netflix you’re in luck as they have the first two series with the third coming soon.
Seriously Nintendo, are you going to bring back my whole childhood?
During the week Nintendo filed for a new patient that has us old skool gamers frothing at the mouth, after the Nes Classic and the upcoming Snes Classic, we all thought it would be the N64 that gets resized and remade next, but it looks like Nintendo decided to throw quite a spanner in the works with the Gameboy Classic. Well that’s what is appears to be, no official word yet but be sure we’ll keep you posted as we know. If it’s to be true what games would you like to see? Tell us in the comments below or on our Facebook Page.
The world famous Wu-Tang Clan is back with a new album being released Friday The 13th. It's called Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues and the new single is called "People Say" featuring Redman which is my pick of the week.
