On Monday, we saw Matt share his thoughts on Martin Scorsese’s latest film, Silence, starring Andrew Garfield, Adam Driver and Liam Neeson. Set in 16th century Japan and about 2 priests searching for their mentor in a time when being Christian was a death sentence. See the full review HERE.
Wednesday I covered John 5 and The Creatures’ latest record Season of the Witch (his page also liked our Facebook and Twitter posts – excuse my fanboy moment!). To quote me “an awesomesauce experimental love letter to the guitar” that completely surprised me in the good way. Check it out HERE.
I now come to Mags and her review of Kong: Skull Island on Friday. She really enjoyed this one, it was another film that wasn’t trying to be what it’s not, you struggled to take your eyes away and we’re not surprised with the calibre of actors they had. See who I’m referring to and read Mags’ review HERE.
On the news front it got exciting over here with Metallica announcing their WorldWired Tour which includes 5 UK dates in October later this year, 2 in London and 1 each in Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham. Tickets go on sale on the 24th of March, get in quick as I feel these will go fast.
If you’re in the UK don’t forget Jordan Peele’s Get Out was released on Ronon’s Reviews Day (AKA St Patrick's) on Friday. This film has won over audiences all over the US so far and now it’s our turn, get warmed up by checking out AJT’s review HERE.
In case you missed our social media saturation, Ronon's Reviews turned 1 on Friday (hence why we are now calling it Ronon's Reviews Day) again we'd like to say a massive thank you for reading, following, sharing and liking our posts and reviews. You have helped us get through an interesting first 12 month and we really look forward to the next 12. Together we can rule the galaxy (you know I have to get at least one Star Wars quote in there)!
And for those of you interested in those Mass Effect bugs, here is a short video.
