Happy Easter everyone. Sadly, it was a two-review week for us as we had some technical difficulties on Monday and Tuesday with the site down. We still have no idea what happened and when we went to address the problem it sorted itself out so a win for us I guess. Anyway, here’s what you may have missed.
Wednesday saw Matt’s review (which was meant for Monday) of the new Ghost in the Shell starring Scarlett Johansson. He admits that he has never seen the original film and really enjoyed this one. I’ve noticed this is an ongoing theme, people who’ve not seen the anime are loving this one, while the diehard fans are boycotting. Make up your own mind after checking out the review HERE!
Yesterday Derek (AKA Norman) dropped what he had to say about Big Sean’s latest album, I Decided on us, and when Derek has something to say about the Hip Hop world we would best listen, he knows his shit. He’s painted quite an interesting picture regarding this new record that even I’m a bit interested. See what I mean HERE!
Remember Royal Blood? The band who damn near took over the music world back in 2014-15? Course you do, well the Brighton duo is all done making the follow up and announced a release date this week, 16th of June How Did We Get So Dark? Will drop, I can’t wait already.
This week I've got two snippets of Star Wars related gaming news, first off there is a rumour circulating the interwebs that BioWare is currently working on 2 games at the moment and one of them is labelled remake, so of course everyone’s mind is Knights of the Old Republic. That would be epic, please let it be true. Second off EA’s Battlefront 2 trailer leaked online early (guessing they were saving it for this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration), it looks awesomesauce even though it’s not game play and includes characters and events set during all 3 trilogies, finally! There is also a hint of a single player campaign. About fucking time EA.

Early in the week we saw the new Thor Ragnarok trailer hit our screens and boy was it great. It had more of a Sci Fi feel to it and full of little bits of humour, you can tell this is the work of Taika Waititi. I'm not sure why we are seeing this now as the film is not due out until November of this year, but it kicked arse some I'm not complaining.
And now for a shocker, Eddie Murphy’s 1988 cult classic Coming to America is slated for a sequel, yep you read that right. Paramount Pictures have signed the original writers to come back and pen this next instalment. But they are smart enough to know it will never work unless Eddie and Arsenio Hall agree to come back also. This is still in its very early stages so there won’t be any news for a while but we’ll keep you posted as we find out.
