But let's talk about the original films we should all keep an eye for!
UK Release Date: 27th of January
The original is one of my favorite movies ever so unfortunately I have great expectation for this. The fact that is based on the book Porn which is the actual sequel to Trainspotting also written by Irvine Welsh puts my mind at ease a bit as well as knowing the whole cast and director Danny Boyle are back. Plus this trailer got me tearing up with trepidation.

Grave AKA Raw:
Release Date: Looks like it will happen in March
French classy cannibal brutal Horror movie rated R for aberrant behavior, bloody and grisly images, strong sexuality, nudity, language and drug use/ partying... SOLD!
Level Of Excitment: 9.5/10
Release Date: sometime in 2017... hopefully
This film is about an ex-con's beef with a rapper and his revenge, I expect some fucked up shit going on and quite a lot of graphic sex scenes.
What got me intersted about this flick is knowing that it’s written and directed by Harmony Korine, who even though disappointed me big time with Spring Breakers, is better known for actual great indie flicks like Gummo as well as writing underground cult classics such as Ken Park and Kids.
The Trap will star big names such as Benicio del Toro, Al Pacino, everybody least favourite vampire Robert Pattinson but also one of my top rappers Gucci Mane and I've read somewhere James Franco might be coming back to collaborate with Harmony.

The Lego Batman Movie
UK Release Date:10th of February
As much as I wanted to love it, I despised The Lego Movie, the only thing that made it less of a drag was the few minutes Batman had on screen - so of course I will be all over his own film! With cast that includes Will Arnett coming back as the Dark Knight, Ralph Finnes playing Alfred, Michael Cera as Robin and Zach Galifianakis giving the voice to the Joker how can I not look forward to this!?
Level Of Excitment: 8.5/10
Release Date: shooting was concluded in August 28th, 2016, so I think we should get a date sometime soon.
Drama about a happy couple and how an uninvited guest is showing up to ruin their life... I'm guessing the younger actors are the happy couple and the older chaps are J-Law's parents..
Again why I’m looking forward to this is the cast: Jennifer Lawrence (I guess she's alright, haven't seen many of her movies) but most importantly Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Harris and also knowing that it's written and directed by Darren Aronofsky, who also gave us Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan and The Wrestler is a certainty this film will be at least interesting.
Level Of Excitment: 8.6/10
UK Release Date: 20th of October
This will be the 8th movie of the saga, but I'm not complaining, Saw is one of my favorite franchise simply because the traps are super inventive and gory as hell! Sadly is written and directed by no one that came out with any exciting projects ever (Pete Goldfinger, Josh Stolberg and behind the camera are Michael and Peter Spierig) but will definitely be watching it.

UK Release: 20th of January
M. Night Shyamalan is back with what I'm sure will be another one of his beautifully fucked up flicks. A dude with 24 different personalities (James McAvoy) kidnaps 3 girls - what can possibly go wrong? Looking forward to see how the scottish actor will pull this off and check out Anya Taylor-Joy come back to the big screen after starring in one of my favorite movies of 2016: The VVitch.

Set between Prometheus and the original Alien and directed by Ridley Scott. That’s all we need to know.
This movie will be so awesome!
Level Of Excitment: 9/10
UK Release Date: 3rd of February
I’m a big fan of the Ring movies both original and remakes, and is kinda annoying to learn that this is been ready to go since late 2015 but it keeps getting postponed. Do I think Rings is gonna blow my mind? Not really judging by the shitty unoriginal trailer, but I really hope to be wrong about this one.

The cast is packed with many loved actors, but the reason why I have such high hopes for this particular superhero movie is not because Chris Hemsworth is super hot but because is directed by Taika Waititi. If you have seen What We Do In The Shadows and Hunt For The Wilderpeople I think you should give Thor a chance as well.
Level Of Excitment: 9/10
Have a look at this, much better than the trailer:
