Coming of age and movies that dabble in first love and loss territory are always appealing as most of us can relate to that feeling and those life highs and lows. European and overseas films convey
First off, Blush is more focused on finding love for the first time than it is focused on the fact her lover is a woman and that's the beauty of the story. The movie is about love and loss. The highs and lows of being a teenager and growing up in a strict family. It's easy to watch and beautifully shot and performed.
Was a treat to see an Israeli film and one as wonderfully constructed as this one. There is something for everyone in Blush and many will relate to the emotion of the character of Na'ama.
