I'm sure all of you either read the book or saw the film or both, but if you didn’t here’s what you've been missing out all your life:
Carrietta (Carrie as the friends that she doesn't have call her) White is a teenager like many others, insecure, shy, crap at sports and has zero sense of style, but unlike many kids her age, she can move objects with the power of her mind. The way she learns about her telekinesis abilities is shortly after getting her first period at the tender age of 17. In the shower. At school. After smearing her peers with her fresh vaginal secretions. While being covered with tampons and pads at the chants of ‘Plug it up!
- Norma was left half deaf for months because the water hose she were sprayed down with had the pressure too high, and she was really passed out in the shot because of that;
- the production didn’t have the time to test the effect before so they went and did the scene anyways therefore the board falling and then killing Ms Collins could have in fact split the actress in half;
- Chris getting slapped for real over and over again from the teacher because De Palma thought she didn’t have the right reaction;
- the star of the movie Sissy Spacek was willing to have real pig blood thrown on her, or that after the prom scene she didn’t have a shower for 3 days not to ruin the blood splatter on her and therefore mess up the continuity of the shoot (who would do that!?) and that at the end you will see the actual hand of Sissy coming out of her grave because she insisted on being buried alive for the scene (she was B-A-N-A-N-A-S!).
The reason why this movie doesn’t get a 10 is because the spinning dancing scene made me feel sick and dizzy.

Not the best copy but this is the must see original trailer with the creepy 70s voiceover and Stephen King's name spelled wrong.
